Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stated in a press release that Egypt’s national energy strategy focuses on increasing reliance on renewable energy sources and enhancing their contribution to the electricity mix.
The project, part of Egypt’s commitment to sourcing over 40% of its electricity from renewable energy by 2035, is expected to supply clean energy to over 1.3 million households
